About the Founder, Hope Tally

Hope Tally is a North Carolina native with over 20 years of finance experience. She earned her B.S in Business Management from NC State and has spent the last 20+ years building an impressive career and holistic finance and accounting skillset.

Her most recent role prior to launching Deep River Financial Solutions LLC, was as the Finance Director for Chatham County, North Carolina. Throughout her career in Chatham, she managed daily financial operations related to budgets, debt, assets, portfolio, cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, as well as internal controls and general financial reporting procedures in accordance with GAAP, local, state, and federal laws and guidelines. Tally not only played an integral role in the County obtaining a AAA bond rating from Standard and Poor's, but also coordinated and assisted with the successful borrowing of over $150 million in obligation bonds and an $18 million dollar installment financing contract.

Tally has an amazing track record of providing clear focus and direction in a fast-paced, team environment, and has consistently balanced financial objectives with statutory compliance while being able to maintain productive and mutually beneficial interdepartmental relationships. She is a certified NC Local Government Finance Officer and was recently awarded by the Chatham County Board of Commissioners for her years of service and countless contributions to the organization and community.
